What kinds of wood can be used?

We can build racks out of pretty much any wood that can be cut and drilled. Redwood is standard because of ability to withstand humid cellar environments, cost and ease of cutting. Cherry, Western Cedar, Mesquite, Poplar are examples of wood that can be used. If cost is not an issue we can work with Teak, and other exotic woods. We can stain wood if needed, but do not recommend stain for smaller sealed cellars.
